Acceptable use policy

By using GetMyHotels you agree to this Acceptable Use Policy in addition to our Terms of Service. Violations may lead to suspension, cancellation, or referral to authorities. Last updated 2026-05-27.

You must not

  • Book or pay for travel on behalf of another person without their consent, or use a payment method you are not authorized to use.
  • Provide false identity, contact, or travel details — including fictitious traveller names that don't match government ID.
  • Use GetMyHotels to launder funds, evade sanctions, or facilitate human trafficking. We screen every payer against the OFAC SDN list and other sanctions registers; matched transactions are blocked and reported.
  • Resell, repackage, or wholesale GetMyHotels inventory without a signed channel-partner agreement.

Automation, scraping, and rate limiting

  • Don't use bots, scrapers, or automation to harvest pricing, availability, content, or chat responses. Programmatic access is available under a partner agreement — contact partners@getmyhotels.com.
  • Respect rate limits. Aggressive querying that materially impacts supplier quota or platform availability for other users will result in IP-level blocks and account suspension.
  • Don't reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code, prompts, or model weights from our AI features.

AI chat & user-generated content

  • Don't submit prompts that solicit illegal activity, child sexual abuse material (CSAM), targeted harassment, malware, or instructions to harm people, animals, or critical infrastructure.
  • Don't attempt to override safety guardrails through prompt injection, jailbreaks, or role-play personas designed to bypass content rules.
  • Don't share, screenshot, or quote AI responses out of context in a way that misrepresents GetMyHotels as endorsing the content.
  • Reviews, support tickets, and any other user-generated content must be your own honest experience. No fake reviews, paid placements, or competitor disparagement.

Account security

  • One human per account. You're responsible for keeping your credentials private and for activity from your sessions.
  • Don't share OTP codes, password reset links, or session tokens — our team will never ask for them.
  • Enable two-factor authentication where available. We strongly recommend it for any account with stored payment methods.

Reporting abuse

If you encounter content or behavior that violates this policy, email abuse@getmyhotels.com. CSAM and credible threats of imminent harm should additionally be reported to law enforcement and, where relevant, the appropriate hotline (e.g. NCMEC CyberTipline).

Enforcement

We may suspend or terminate access without notice when we reasonably believe this policy or our Terms of Service have been violated. Where the violation involves fraud or sanctions evasion we cooperate with law enforcement and reserve the right to forfeit related transactions.
